Sewwand will allow you to easily search and find fabrics and accessories for fashion collections from a global product gallery, combining a multitude of catalogues. You will be able to seamlessly explore, sort and filter down to your exact needs and find outstanding products. Contacting suppliers to request samples is as direct as the click of a button and you shall rate them to ensure transparency and overall quality.

Why does my account have to be approved?

Buyers shall have to apply for a personal user-access prior to viewing any product on Sewwand mainly for security reasons. For professional suppliers to be comfortable in showcasing their products, it is a necessary step to protect intellectual property and prevent counterfeits.

How can I sign-up for a User-account?

Signing up is as simple as clicking the "Request an invite" button on the homepage and filling out some basic information. Your application should then be approved within 24 hours after submission.

Why am I asked to provide professional details to sign-up?

Sewwand needs your professional details for 2 reasons:

To ensure every user’s account is legitimate and in fact from a fashion professional.

To ease sample inquiries. This way, requesting samples will be just at the click of a button.

Does it take long for a User-account to be approved?

I should take no longer than 24 hours. You might also receive a call from Sewwand during the process in order to verify some details.

I signed-up a while ago but it seems I still don’t have access. Does that mean I have been denied?

No matter if your application has been approved or denied, you shall always receive a notification from Sewwand. In case you have not, please feel free to contact our support team at any time.

Can I share my account?

No, you cannot share your. Accounts are personal, nominative and subject to strict control to ensure overall security.

Feel free to recommend Sewwand to a friend or a colleague, to sign-up for a separate free account.

I contacted a supplier a while ago but nobody’s answering my inquiry. What should I do?

If a supplier does not show any sign of activity for a while, please let us know as soon as possible by sending a quick message to our support team.

What have I been blocked for?

If you see a warning or notice that you have certain features blocked for a time, this means we have noticed an unusual activity coming from your account. This might be due to some of the following:

  • Your account had multiple IPs signed-in simultaneously
  • You have contacted too many of suppliers in a short space of time
  • Community members have flagged you as spam We want to keep the community professional, positive and constructive and we hope these measures will help us do that. Helping keep interactions professional will increase the likelihood of good products being seen and a community being built around good practice in the fashion industry.

As mentioned in our Terms of Use, a very extended time for answering requests will be considered suspicious.

How can I showcase my products?

Simply send the images and descriptions of your products to be showcased in our product gallery.

If you’d like Sewwand to take a high-resolution picture of your products, simply send us your samples and we’ll take it from there. Please note this service comes for a small extra fee. For more info, send us a quick message.

Remember, Sewwand for Creatives is exclusively accessible to fashion professionals, previously screened by Sewwand. They are also required to sign a copyright contract previous to be given any access.

How do buyers contact me?

There’s a contact button on each product page allowing buyers to directly contact you by filling out a form. Your basic contact details are also shown next to each product.

Am I expected to answer inquiries within a certain time?

To maintain overall service quality, suppliers are asked to respond in a timely manner to buyer inquiries. Sewwand will send notification messages warning you of pending inquiries.

We want to keep the community professional, alive and effective. Making sure inquiries are being answered is therefore central to our services.

As mentioned in our Terms of Use, a very extended time for answering requests will be considered suspicious. Failing to resolve these may lead to termination of the account as contractually agreed.

Am I protected from copyright infringement?

Buyers have to apply for a personal user-access prior to viewing any product on Sewwand. Once a buyer has been pre-screened and approved, gaining a personal access involves entering a legally binding agreement accepting our terms & conditions.

Sewwand take intellectual property theft very seriously and is therefore designed for complete protection, therefore personally reviewing the legitimacy of each application pending approval.

We use state of the art security systems, to guarantee the account protection and security.
